Today I got up at 7.30 and had breakfast with Willow, who flew over from Sweden especially. Great to see you!

Today is also Marte’s birthday, and Burns-night, and the weather is absolutely terrible!

I have actually done some REAL painting. They are quite small, and will be for sale at the Cash&Carry in studio 37 - which is a part of the SAFE-studios OPEN studios.

Mass slaughter and devastation in Gaza shows barbarity has no limits. Half of Gaza’s one and a half million people are children, dozens of whom have been killed or injured. Hospitals in Gaza are overflowing with dead and wounded while facing severe shortages of essential medical supplies and spare parts.
The fourth most powerful military in the world unleashes its arsenal of terror on people trapped in the most densely populated area in the world.
I will bring a poster saying: “Hold kjeft Siv Jensen”.

Cash and Carry, Art and Design in Angel on the 3rd of December went really well! We all sold quite a bit of art and accessories, and it was a sociable gathering. The studio in Torrens street might have been a bit tricky to find, but most people got there in the end. A lot of old friends popped by, and also quite a few people came because of the info on the Norwegian Embassy Website, which was nice!

I have been doing a lot of eggs recently. One of them I gave to YCN to put on the YCNs Christmas Tree in their office in Shoredich, London. They gave me a nice book in return.

and this sunday, the 21st, is the darkest one this year. After this, it will only get brighter, warmer, and more flowery. So maybe, in between all the mulled-wine and carols in your Credit Crunch Christmas, you will have time to think about this one: SPRING!

Dear all,
When I got home yesterday morning, I realized that I must have mislaid my RIGHT eyebrow somewhere. It should be in central Hackney, maybe in a garden or similar…
Please get in touch if you’ve seen it anywhere, or know how I can get a new one pretty fast -
as I now have to wear this silly hat to compensate
(see picture) - and it is not something I am very comfortable with.
Thank you,
Yours sincerely,
Mr. Henry McNulty

The London Original Print Fair is having Arroniz Arte Contemporaneo gallery among its exhibitors and this is a very good chance to see what graphic and printmaking artists from Mexico -or based in Mexico- are doing in the present. An amazing big format triptych is the star of Arroniz’ space and it really deserves to be so. The gossip ran fast when the first part of the triptych was hanged and even the security guys at the entrance found a way to take a little break to have a look at it.The fair will run from April 23rd – 27th at the Royal Academy in Central London (Picadilly, W1)For more info go to:www.londonprintfair.comwww.arroniz-arte.comThe following is just a sample of the work the gallery promotes
