I’m doing some little stock frame animations in paper, and I love it. The next one will be “little red riding hood”. Yes, it is a self-composed piano tune. Garageband is dangerous!

With credit-crunchies and lots of rain, there’s no wonder people are fleeing London.
For the first time in 30 years more people move to the countryside than than into cities. And most of these people do keep hens.
There is something about it, though. If there’s gonna be rain,- why not the clean stuff?

… has been open every Saturday this summer. It’s free to get in, and you’d just have a walk around and a peak inside. This takes a while, because the power station is MASSIVE.-
it does somehow feel a lot bigger than TATE modern, which is a similar construction, and it probably is, because it’s the largest brick-building in Europe.
Seeing it so close up was an overwhelming experience,
and something to remember, as the plans for transforming it will hopelly become reality quite soon. There’s more about that on this little flashy website. These plans went a bit belly up as well, and he left it altogether, - after first having removed the roof -something that makes the building in a worse state today, than it would have been there..!

The station famously appears in The Beatles’ 1965 movie Help! and on the cover of Pink Floyd’s 1977 album Animals.

VintagePlant is a place where you can buy and sell plants with a history; second-hand plants that need a new home or third-generation cuttings with an old family-tree. Instead of throwing an old and tired plant in the bin you can go to www.vintageplant.net and they will try to find it a new home. This page is about the stories plants can tell us, how they have followed us through our lives and experienced good and bad times.
